Mission
The Long Island School for the Gifted (LISG) provides an appropriate education for gifted children in pre-kindergarten through ninth grade, in a nurturing environment where they will be both intellectually challenged and comfortable socially, thereby providing these children with the opportunity to grow and develop to their potential.
Mission TwoFor over forty years, LISG has lead the way in providing an accelerated experience for gifted scholars that is challenging and socially comfortable (Mission #1 1980). The staff and parents work collectively, to help gifted students develop the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed for life. Emotional, and social needs of the gifted child are addressed whilst building a strong character as part of the commitment to developing the whole gifted child.
VisionLISG is committed to provide children with an education that emphasizes them as producers, innovators, and collaborators in the world. To find out more about L.I.S.G go to: https://lisg.org To donate to L.I.S.G go to: https://lisg.org/fundraising/
