Welcome to the team, Max! Since April, 2022 Max has been helping to collect canned food. He also collects with his baseball team "The Legends".Max is a Junior at Schreiber High School. He enjoys fishing and playing baseball. Go Legends!
In 2023 Max became our co-leader. He organizes food drives, runs food drives, participates in events, and helps find new locations.
He will take over Can You Help Too in July 2025.
Volunteering:
August 20, 2024: Volunteering time: 45mn. Max delivered donations to the food pantry of Our Lady of Fatima.
August 8, 2024: Volunteering time: 1hr. Max ran a food drive with his baseball team. Go Legends! And congrats!
July 30, 2024: Volunteering time: 45mn. Max picked up donations at Bach to Rock.
First couple of weeks of July : 6 hours: Max helped prepare the posters to display during the exhibit at Smusht.
July 15, 2024: Volunteering time: 1 1/2 hours: Max helped Jojo and The Navigators bring the food to the food pantry of Our Lady of Fatima and diapers and baby formula to The Parent Resource Center. We also had a meeting at Smusht to finalize the exhibit starting July 22.
June 25, 2024: Volunteering time: 2 hours: Max helped prepare supplies for our painting workshop for our upcoming exhibit in August at Smusht.
May 30, 2024: Volunteering time: 45mn. Max delivered donations to the food pantry of Our Lady of Fatima.
April 5, 2024: Volunteering time: 45mn. Max picked up donations at Bach to Rock.
March 16, 2024: Volunteering time: 30mn. Max dropped off donations at The Parent Resource Center
November 10, 2023: Volunteering time: 30mn. We raised money for the Food Pantry of Our Lady of Fatima. Together we raised $130!
November 3, 2023: Volunteering time: 30mn. Max dropped off food donations we collected on Halloween.
October 31, 2023: Volunteering time: 30mn. Max and friends, Hunter and Anthony collected food donations during our Halloween food drive.
October 30, 2023: Volunteering time: 30mn. Max helped with our Fundraiser with local business, BeautyFluff. So far we collected $60.
September 21, 2023: Volunteering time: 1 1/2 hours. We had a business meeting with Steve from Smusht. The meeting went really well. Smusht is now one of our permanent locations.
We also stopped by the food pantry of Our Lady of Fatima. We dropped off food donations and we worked on a project with Sister Kathy for Plant a Row for the Hungry.
May 6, 2023: Volunteering time: 2 hours (1pm-3pm). The Fairy Festival was a huge success. The Sands Point Preserved welcomed more than 300 people. The Can You Help Too team made fairy soup with the children. We told people about our commUNITY project, and we also asked them to follow us on Instagram and to join our Facebook Group.

Can You Help Too and Beautyfluff are partners. Together we are collecting food, diapers and baby formula with the help of our community. BeautyFluff hosts one of our bins and is one of our permanent locations.
During the event people brought canned food. Max collected the canned food and told guests about our commUNITY project. He also collected email addresses of people who wanted to join our mailing list.
The event was a big success!

Thanks also for meeting with Jack and I to meet with Matt Lanfant, one of the owners of the Cooking Lab. Great business meeting, The Cooking Lab is now our 4th permanent location in town!
